Information

The course gives 6 hp, corresponding to approximately 160h of work per student. This time includes the following activities.

  • Lectures: 12 × 2h = 24h
  • Computer exercises: 7 x 4h = 28h
  • Written examination: 4h
  • Student's own work: 100h

The course is active during period HT2.

Registration

In order to receive email about the course and get results entered into Ladok, it is necessary that you are registrered for the course.  If you are taking the course but are not registered, make sure to register asap using Studentportalen.  If you are taking the course without being a registered student at Linköping University, contact the examiner in order to assure a working email communication.

Notice: You have have to make an additional registration for the examination, in particular if you are an international student.

Matlab

The computer exercises are mainly based on Matlab, a software tool for mathematical computations.
If you have no previous experience with Matlab, you may want to check out the introductory Matlab course, TSRT04.
The examiner can also provide you with some introductory self study material in Matlab.

Python

One computer exercise is partly based on Python.
